ps25
Women's Accessories and unisex footwear designed for the youth audience, Gen Z customer. Aligning to macro trends of Y2K and Mall Pop Revival themes, various pieces were designed as part of the core collection for the New Yorker Pre Spring/Summer Collection 2025 retail rollouts.
The bag channels retro athletic nostalgia through its dome‑shaped bowling silhouette, varsity “92” chenille applique, and contrast paneling, echoing vintage Fila and classic sportswear branding. It lives in the same visual universe as Fila, Kappa, Ellesse, Champion, and Adidas Originals, where bold logos, collegiate references, and heritage team‑sport cues read as both collectible and everyday wearable.
Aesthetically, the piece nods to throwback bowling bags from brands like Fila and Aritzia’s cult bowling‑bag reissue, updated with clean construction, heavy topstitching, and a more compact, city‑ready scale. The design merges varsity athletics, mall‑rat energy, and early‑internet attitude so it can sit comfortably next to Juicy Couture, Coach, and Dior’s modern bowling silhouettes in a curated Y2K accessories wall.
The Y2K Suede Low-Top
The sneaker channels retro court nostalgia through its plush suede upper, low-profile silhouette, and serrated contrast side-striping, directly mirroring the varsity aesthetic of its companion bowling bag. It lives in the same visual universe as PUMA Suedes, Reebok Club Cs, and Converse One Stars, where textured materials, off-white cupsoles, and heritage breaking cues read as both subcultural staples and mainstream icons.
The Ballerina
Keeping in line with the Y2K revival, the Ballerina a style popularised in the early to mid-2000s has once again responded to the brief for a GenZ oriented shoe with both ironic and unironic applications such as being paired with baggy acid washed jeans or the more elegant darker side with white socks and a black mini skirt.

Pre Spring 2025
Aesthetically, the piece nods to the B-boy-turned-skater pipeline of the late 90s, updated with wider laces, a reinforced toe box, and a padded collar for a chunky, durable stance. The design merges 80s hip-hop heritage, nu-metal mall-rat energy, and TRL-era attitude, ensuring it sits comfortably alongside Etnies, DC Shoes, and BAPE Stas in a curated Y2K footwear rotation, effectively grounding the collection’s athletic youth theme.
